Shadow Work Basics
We all have parts of ourselves that we've hidden away. Past experiences, old beliefs, fears, insecurities, and emotions we've learned to suppress. This is what is often referred to as our shadow.
In this beginner-friendly class, you'll discover what shadow work really is (and what it isn't), why it can be one of the most powerful tools for personal growth, and how bringing awareness to your shadow can help you break unhealthy patterns, strengthen your relationships, and create lasting change.
Throughout the evening, we'll explore:
What the shadow self is and how it develops
Common signs your shadow may be influencing your daily life
How unhealed wounds can show up in relationships, emotions, and self-sabotaging behaviours
Gentle and practical techniques to begin your own shadow work journey
Journaling prompts and exercises to help you continue the work at home
Shadow work isn't about judging yourself or reliving trauma. It's about meeting yourself with honesty, compassion, and curiosity so you can heal the parts of yourself that have been asking to be seen.
Whether you're new to personal development or have already begun your healing journey, this class will provide valuable tools and insights that you can continue using long after the evening is over.
